Luck by fuck
In Mumbai street talk, things don't happen by chance, they happen 'luck by chance'. And now in Bandra, the locals have a new spin on this colloquial expression: over here, things happen 'luck by fuck'.
Kinda like the "By God ki Kasam", uttered solemnly (the worse the lie, more the solemnity) with the thumb and the index pinching the adam's apple...
A similar convoluted construct was used in that awesome spoof, "Andaz Apna Apna": "Galti se mistake ho gaya, Sir." Makes the confessor seem so much more human.
